Twitella aims to be a lightweight desktop client for Twitter, and is built on the Adobe AIR framework.
Twitella is in public beta 7 as of Dec 19 2008, and is a 1.4 MB download.

* A manual install of the Adobe AIR Runtime is required for Linux users.
